Shri Guru Gita (Song of the Guru) is a sacred text describing the Guru-disciple relationship, the nature of the Guru, the importance of devotion and service, and the role the Guru plays in leading the disciple to Self-realization. The full text of the chant (transliterated and with English translation) is in the book The Nectar of Chanting.
Amrit Brunch with savory cereal, chai and other potluck dishes will be served after the Guru Gita. The cost is $5. The brunch is a self-serve buffet in a small indoor space and we eat around a conference table which seats 10.
